Description
Brown rice provides you with the right amount of vitamin B, as opposed to white rice, which contains carbohydrates. It also contains antioxidants and minerals, which keeps your skin soft and smooth.
How to use?
Face Masks:
Simply dab on damp face before cleansing face and let it dry. It will hardly take 5 minutes. Once dry, rinse it off. Do not scrub or massage. Keep your eyes closed while rinsing off to avoid getting it into your eyes. Follow your skin cleansing and toning routine as usual.
For skin brightening, make a mask with cold milk/ yogurt to form a thick paste. You can also add turmeric. Apply on your cleansed face and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with tap water. Apply it once a week. This mask also soothes your redness, sunburn and skin irritation.
For skin tightening, take 1 blended egg white and 1 tablespoon of rice flour. Apply a thick layer on cleansed face and let it dry. Wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat twice a week for visible results.
However, you can use it for other purposes as well:
- Dark Circles
- Exfoliating Agent (add it to your home made body scrubs)
