Why do you have acne?

Isn’t acne the most common and relatable factor we find in girls? I hope we all will agree to that, and try our best to get rid of it. But why it happens and how to cure that is super bothering. No one is born with acne (exceptions excluded) nor anybody is going to live with it forever. There are different types of skin such as oily, combination and dry skin, but the acne can occur on any of them.
There are certain reasons because of which it happens and to know them well is important. Most of the girls are very particular about their skin conditions and in the process of taking care of it, they at times jump to really scary results. So, please, all the girls out there, be very careful when it comes to the care of skin and let not your skin suffer from any serious issues. Whatever you try, that might be a skin and hair care product or home remedy, make sure you research well on it so that you do not suffer in any way.

Your Habits Responsible for Acne:
Remember, it is okay to have acne unless it does not leave a scar. We go through a lot, sometimes and bad skin days might be a reaction to it. So relax and let it heal. Do not curse yourself for having such days because after all, we are humans and HUMANS face such scenarios.

Let’s jump into the factors that causes acne and also their solutions. It will definitely help you to bring back your beautiful healthy skin.

Obviously, I cannot ask you to stop using mobile phones because it is totally absurd. But, of course, I can tell you the ways that can help you to make sure, it would not cause acne. The factor that you should be concerned about smartphones is the light (brightness) of smartphones. If it extensively stays on your face then you will have acne as it releases bacteria causing acne. Secondly, untidy screens when comes to contact with skin allow germs to find its way and cause skin problems. Additionally, excessive use of smartphones and keeping them way closer to your face can also damage the skin.

Vitamin D:
Vitamin D is also a very common factor. Its deficiency will weaken your immune system and ending up with skin acne. So, you should have more exposure to the sun as it is a huge, inexpensive and natural source of vitamin D. Moreover, do not forget to wear sunscreen before going out to avoid UV rays and its effect.

Tap water:
Around the globe, there are countries where supply of water via tap is super complicated. It means, it is not guaranteed how well it is cleaned prior to reach to the taps for our use. Pakistan is one of those countries where water supply is not highly maintained so most of use are seen concerned about the drinking tap water. Similarly, we should also avoid tap water for our skin that is not practically possible. So, what is the solution to it? Due to salts in tap water, it is most likely that you will eventually lose moisture of skin if you did not take the precautionary measures. The best practical way is to use a good hydrating toner after face wash and follow proper rituals of moisturising in the morning and night. It will help in keeping tight pores, minimum skin problems and less sebum so there is a great chance for an acne-less skin!

According to surveys conducted, coffee is taken in abundance by adults around the globe. You do not need to quit having coffee but reduce the amount and have it upon need. The extensive use raises the pH level of your body which is basically the acidic or alkaline level. So, to help it stay neutral, you should have less coffee.

Dehydration is also one of the reasons behind having acne. It causes skin to produce more oil (sebum) and clog the pores. There is a great chance to have blackheads and acne to due clogged pores. Furthermore, water level is also very important to maintain skin moisture level which will help in having no acne on skin.

Other Common Factors are:

  • Indigestion
  • Sleeping with untidy face or makeup on
  • Sweating  and not showering
  • Certain foods can also cause acne
  • Untidy (dirty) bedsheet and pillow covers
  • Medications
  • Over cleansing causes dryness, forcing skin to produce extra sebum that results in acne
  • Drinking alcohol or smoking
  • Stressing Out
  • Sleepless Routine
